The announcement of Montenegro’s most successful businesswoman and the ceremonial presentation of the prestigious Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award took place on October 27, 2016, in the exclusive setting of the Hilton Hotel in Podgorica, marking the first time this award was presented in Montenegro.
The prestigious Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award was established in 1972 in honor of the remarkable businesswoman Madame Clicquot and is presented each year to successful businesswomen around the world. The Veuve Clicquot Award is often regarded as a kind of Oscar for women in business, recognizing strong and accomplished women distinguished by the entrepreneurial spirit and courage that also defined the exceptional Frenchwoman Madame Clicquot.
In Montenegro, outstanding women from various fields were nominated for their tangible achievements, dedication, hard work, and ambition, as well as for the example they set in inspiring younger generations. The nominees for this prestigious award were Ivona Dabetić Jovović, Milena Đergović, Bojana Popović, Marina Banović Džuver, and Zorica Mišković Pavićević.
The event was organized by Energy Star International, while Vision Event Agency was responsible for the complete event management.
